Use your notebook on a hard surface, such as a desk, tray, or table.
Do not use the notebook on your lap or let its warm surfaces make direct contact with your skin. If you want to use it on your lap, rest it on a hard, flat surface, such as a lap tray specifically designed for notebooks.
Do not use the notebook on soft surfaces, such as bed comforters, cushions and pillows, clothing, or carpet. Such surfaces can block the air flow through the vents, which can cause heat to build up within the notebook’s enclosure.

hp laptop repair

How to Protect your Hp laptop from damage:

After you have read about those two types of hp laptop repair above here are few measures to keep for better mainatance of your  laptop :

hp repair serviceAvoid Exposure To Heat:

Excessive heat can damage key components in your hp laptop system, It is recommended not to leave the notebook in a hot enclosure, such as a parked car, or in direct sunlight. Either of these can cause heat damage and warping.Keep the LCD display out of direct sunlight for long hours which can cause rapid damage to the screen.
The notebook is designed to automatically throttle its activity when its internal temperature exceeds predefined levels. If the temperature already high then refer to the fan sound and noise your laptop might be making, It will automatically shut itself as it is designed that way to protect internal components from heat damage by itself. For detailed information about heat and how it can affect the notebook’s battery, you must check if the charging process getting delayed in High Ambient Temperatures.

Avoid Exposure To Cold:

Low temperatures also obstruct your laptop to work in a normal manner, The typical Lithium-Ion battery used in HP laptop computers cannot charge properly at temperatures of 30 to 50 degrees F (0 to 10 C). At these temperatures, the battery charges extremely slowly and cannot acquire a full charge before the charging cycle times out. For proper charging function keep your laprop in a warmer place, where the internal temperature of the battery can rise above 50 degrees F (10 degree C).
If the battery is left in a low-temperature environment for 12 hours or more, you must warm the notebook and battery and then perform a hard reset of the notebook.

Techyuga’s technical team works with different brands and gadgets including computers, laptops, smartphones and we have also got an hp support team for hp repair service. Please read our full-service list HERE.

Keep it Clean:

Do not use or store the computer in an environment characterized by high humidity, dust, grit, or smoky conditions.
Notebook computers have vents on the bottom and sides to allow air to flow through the inside and cool the internal parts. If these vents become clogged or the heat generating parts get covered in dust, the fan cannot cool the internal components properly. Blow compressed air into the outlet vents to remove the dust that has accumulated and keep the air circulating through the device.
For detailed information about keeping the vents clear, refer to Reducing Heat Inside the PC.

Clean Your Hands:

Do not use the keyboard with sticky, dirty, or greasy fingers. This can leave debris behind, which can easily contaminate the computer’s internal components. Debris on the keyboard can also scratch and stain the notebook display when the lid is closed.
Keep all liquids away from the keyboard.
Keep all liquids, such as coffee, cola, water, or cleaning solvents away from the keyboard.
Do not eat or drink while using a notebook.
Do not use the computer in any wet environment, such as a swimming pool or shower, and protect the components from liquid sources, including rain and lawn sprinklers.
Store the notebook on a hard flat surface.
Do not store a notebook at the bottom of a locker, in a bag full of books, or under anything that can exert enough stress to crack the case or the display.
Do not stack items on top of the notebook computer.

What Damages The hp laptop Battery Life:

The power capacity of laptop batteries decreases over time. The way a battery is used also affects battery capacity.
Battery cells suffer gradual, irreversible capacity loss with each discharge-charge cycle. Such aging occurs more rapidly as temperature and discharge loads increase.
The energy of a battery decreases even when the battery is left in an unpowered computer.
During prolonged storage or non-use, the battery charge can decrease below its recommended low-voltage level.
Leaving the battery depleted for an extended period can cause the battery to go into a low-voltage condition and become unusable. Leaving the battery at a high level of charge in a high-temperature environment for extended periods also accelerates the loss of capacity.
Using software for graphics processing or high-definition video accelerates the loss of capacity. For example, playing 3D games lowers full charge capacity faster than using word processing applications.

How to maximize The Hp Laptop Battery Life:

Store batteries between 20°C and 25°C (68°F and 77°F), with 70 percent charge.
Do not disassemble, crush, or puncture a battery; do not short the external contacts on a battery.
Do not leave batteries exposed to high temperatures for extended periods. Prolonged exposure to heat (inside a hot car, for example) accelerates the deterioration of cells.
Discharge the battery to 70 percent and remove the battery if you plan to store the computer (turned off and not plugged into AC power) for more than one month.
For prolonged battery storage, check the capacity every six months and recharge to 70 percent.
If you have a choice of battery types to use with your computer, use the type of battery with the highest capacity rating.
Under normal usage, batteries should be calibrated a minimum of once every 2-3 months; however, a battery that is rarely discharged fully should be calibrated about once a month.

In Techyuga, all our technical experts are affiliated with various software and hardware training programs. If you want to know what people are telling about us, please visit HERE.

How To Conserve Hp Laptop Battery Life:

Reduce the number of open applications. Each open software application uses memory and power, even when the application window is minimized. Close software applications to conserve battery power.

Reduce the brightness of the screen to the minimum readable level: Use the Fn and F7 or F8 keys to adjust the brightness.

Remove peripherals when not in use: External hard drives, CD-ROMs, Zip drives, PC cards, and other peripheral devices can draw power from your battery even when they are not in active use. Disconnect them when you are finished using them.

Reduce the speed of your processor. The faster your computer works, the more quickly it depletes battery power. You can extend the charge of your battery by slowing down the processor speed.

Turn off wireless. If your laptop has one, press the Wireless On-Off button so that the wireless and wireless light turn off.

Change the power option setting. Select either HP Recommended or Power saver to conserve battery power.
