  • Verify that the status of the service should be running. If not, proceed as follows.
  • Right-click on the DNS client service and select Properties.

  • Change the Startup type to Automatic and click on Start.

Solution 4 Use Google’s public DNS

  • Open your Network’s properties window as explained in Solution 2.
  • Double-click on Internet Protocol Version 4 to open its properties.
  • Shift the radio button to Use the following DNS server addresses.
  • Enter the following values for the DNS addresses:
  • Preferred DNS address: 8.8.8.8
  • Alternate DNS address: 8.8.4.4

 

 

  • Click on Apply and then on OK to save the settings.
  • Restart the system.

Solution 5 Reset TCP/IP

  • Search for Command Prompt in the Windows search bar and type the following command:
    netsh int ip reset resettcpip.txt

  • Press Enter to execute the command.
  • Restart the system and check if it fixes the issue.
